Love Share Lankan Competition
Please read these prize draw rules carefully. If you enter our competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and you agree to them.
Promoter details: The Coconut Tree Limited with its registered office at 59 St Paul’s Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 4JA (“our” or “we”).
Who can enter
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and entrants must be 18+ to enter.
- If you are an employee of The Coconut Tree, a direct family member of an employee or agent, or if you are associated with the competition in any way, then you are not permitted to enter.
Entry
- The competition will open at 00:00 on Wednesday, 5th October 2022 and close at 23:59 on 30th December 2022 and winner will be contacted on 31st December 2022.
- Competition information will be provided on our social media and website. We may re-use your photograph for marketing purposes.
- Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition prize draw.
How to enter
- To participate in this competition, you must share a picture of your experience at The Coconut Tree on Instagram (grid post), Facebook (page post), TikTok or Twitter, and tag us @TheCoconutTreeUK using the hashtag #LoveShareLankan.
- Entries are limited to 1 per person.
The Prize
- A 7-night holiday for 2 adults in a Classic Double room on a bed & breakfast board basis at a 5 * hotel in Sri Lanka. This prize includes return flights for up to 2 people from a London airport, overseas transfers to and from the airport and the hotel AND 1 free item of checked baggage of up to 22kg per person.
- Flight departure is from London airports only and via Economy Class.
- Travel is not permitted during peak seasons, such as school holidays, Christmas, Easter or local religious holidays.
- Travellers must check passport validity and arrange relevant travel insurance and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any health or medical screening requirements.
- You must arrange the trip within 12 months of accepting the prize.
- You must provide a minimum of 1 month’s notice before the chosen travel date.
- Your chosen date of travel will be subject to availability.
- Transfers to and from the airport in the UK are not included. No optional flight/board/accommodation supplements are included in the prize, and these must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-changeable and has no cash value or alternative.
- The prize is subject to (tour operators) terms and conditions
Winner selection & notification
- The winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge from the full list of valid entries within the competition dates.
- The winner will be contacted on 31st December 2022 via Direct Message to the account that made the entry, the message will come from the account @TheCoconutTreeUK
- Upon being notified as the winner, you have 7 days to accept the prize, after which another winner may be selected.
- The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Changes to the competition
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and/or the prize at any time as necessary and/or there are circumstances outside our reasonable control which impact or could impact the competition.
Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage or injury occurring to you or any third party arising from your entry into the promotion or arising from your acceptance and use of the Prize.
